Frequently asked questions
Is Rev Resume ATS-friendly?
Yes. Templates use real selectable text, standard headings and a single reading order. You can also export a plain-text ATS version. The scanner is a heuristic guide — no one can guarantee how a specific employer's ATS ranks a resume.
Does the AI make up experience?
No. It rewrites only what you provide and inserts bracketed placeholders like [X%] where a real number would help. Always review AI output before sending.
Where is my resume stored?
In your browser on your device. Text goes to the AI service only when you press an AI button.
What formats can I download?
PDF, Word (.doc), plain-text ATS, Markdown, HTML and JSON backup.
Does Rev Resume get smarter?
Yes, in two ways. Rev Brain learns from the suggestions you accept, dismiss and edit, and from rules you teach it — stored privately on your device. And the app checks for new versions and updates itself, including upgrades to the underlying AI model.
Can I install it on my phone?
Yes — use Install App, or on iPhone tap Share → Add to Home Screen.
